is a site for the display of images intended for promotional
purposes and deemed to be in the public domain. If there is any doubt
as to the status of any file or files contained herein, we
respectfully ask you to contact the webmaster, describing the file or
files in question, along with any proof of ownership or a confirmable
statement that these files are not in the public domain.
Once
any such statement or evidence is displayed to us, we will
immediately remove any file or files in question and also publish an
apology for the duration of 1 week in the original place of the file
or files in question if required. We will not do this unless
requested but are more than happy to do so. If you would prefer, we
would happily retain the pictures and place a banner link to your
official web site to take the traffic to your site.
Our
site is run by a fair, honest collection of enthusiasts simply
trying to make a superb website, we are not trying to damage or
deface anyone's character or reputation, nor are we trying to steal
copyrighted material, we do NOT scan or digitize any of the images,
we simply collect or receive them from various sources deemed to be
in the Public Domain. If a copyright holder wishes to inform us and
tell us any files which are copyright, we will amicably sort out such
an oversight, there is no need for legal confrontation when sensible,
reasoned conversation can halt any such problems far more quickly,
not to mention the costs saved to both parties.
Please
also note that the files received on here are to the best of our
knowledge compatible with any computer system in existence, if they
go all fuzzy or change shape when on your machine, you can't blame
us. We weren't even in the room at the time...... |
